I loved the short walk to both the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art and the beautiful Kenroku-en Garden, and having easy access to great restaurants nearby made my stay even better.

The check-in area feels cramped with staff buzzing around. It would help if they streamlined things a bit!!! Also, the absence of a pool or sauna was disappointing, especially for a staycation vibe.

tokyu was a lovely hotel with a suite room offering stunning views over the park and castle. it's conveniently located, very close to the naya-machi buke yashiki district and within easy walking distance of kanazawa castle. the breakfast spread was excellent, and access to the club lounge was a fantastic perk.

the price was a bit steep.
